Gunfight rages in Pinglish Pulwama | KNO

Pulwama Mar 10 (KNO) : Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Pinglish area of Tral in Pulwama district on Sunday. According to KNO correspondent police sources confirmed that the contact with militants has been established and gunfire is being exchanged from both sides. Earlier government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area. Official sources told KNO that the operation is being jointly conducted by the 42 RR and SOG Tral. The operation was launched after receiving credible information about the presence of militants there. "All the entry and exit points to the area have been sealed, " Officials said. (KNO)
